One of the most exquisite private social facilities on Long Island, The Seawane Club is located on the south shore in Nassau County, near Hewlett Bay. Within a decade after vast renovations, it won the 2004 New York State Sportswriters Association Golf Club of the Year award. The course is a "links" with an intriguing mix of fescue, sand, water, wind and views.
Full breakfast, golf range and practice facilities, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Golf scramble tournament with an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start and two carts per foursome, or pool and tennis. Barbecue lunch and refreshments on the golf course, followed by a cocktail hour at 5 p.m., and a barbecue / buffet dinner and dessert table from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Open bar for the evening festivities, all in an elegant setting.
Prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin. Hole-In-One Prizes for each Par 3.
